Dr. Bafaki is a Ugandan, male, aged 34 years. He holds a Joint PhD in Governance and Regional Integration from the Pan African University (African Union) and University of Yaounde II, Cameroon. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Management from Makerere University and a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration from Bugema University, Uganda. He also has advanced training in Policy Analysis, Insurance and Financial Management and his research interests are in Democracy and Governance on the African Continent. Dr. Bafaki is a youth advocate who has attended various leadership courses and is an Alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), Nairobi, Kenya.
Currently, Dr. Bafaki works as the Director of Research and Development at Kalube Consults Ltd, a Pan African Consultancy firm with associates spread across 40 African countries headquartered in Uganda where they are implementing a new learning partnership with Oxfam IBIS based in Ghana under the Education Out Loud (EOL) initiative supported by the Global Education Fund and currently engaged in training and mentorship in Resource Mobilization and Financial Sustainability for the Francophone cluster of EOL OC1 grantees in the Regional Management Unit (RMU) of West and Central Africa Region. He also served as the Director of Finance and Administration at the same company. Previously, Dr. Bafaki worked in both public and not-for-profit sectors as a trainer, coach, politician, and has provided technical support to various projects in project planning and management.
